Pinch Crew
Every crew member is vetted before they can claim a shift

Your crew called in sick.
Ours didn’t.

In a pinch? We’ve got a crew. Post the shift, and vetted part-time workers across Malaysia claim it — usually before you’ve finished your coffee.

No subscription. You pay for hours actually worked.

Three steps, and the shift is covered

No agency phone tree, no CV pile, no chasing anyone for a timesheet.

1

Post the shift

Role, site, hours, and the minimum skill tier you need. You see the total cost before you post — including our fee, with nothing added later.

2

Vetted crew claim it

Only workers who hold the right skill at the right tier can even see your shift. First to claim gets it; you can release someone if you need to.

3

Approve the hours

Crew clock in by scanning a QR code at your site, so the hours are real. You approve the timesheet, we pay the worker.

You hire a tier, not a gamble

“Experienced” means nothing on a job board. Every skill on Pinch Crew has the same four rungs, and they mean the same thing at every employer — so a worker’s tier travels with them, and you know what you are getting before anyone turns up.

T1

Trainee

No experience needed. Works alongside your existing crew.

T2

Crew

Handles a section of the floor unsupervised.

T3

Senior Crew

Opens and closes the floor, and trains new crew.

T4

Supervisor

Runs a shift and handles customer escalations.

That ladder is Service Crew. Kitchen Hand, Barista and Cashier each have their own four rungs, written in the same plain language. A worker earns a tier by being assessed on it — nobody starts at the top.

Vetted means we actually checked

Not a self-declared profile with a smiling photo.

  • Identity verified by a person Every IC and work permit is reviewed by our team against the worker’s profile. A human decides, every time — nobody is approved or rejected automatically.
  • Right to work confirmed We check that someone may legally take the shift before they can claim one, so the liability never lands on you.
  • Attendance you can trust Clock-in is a QR code at your site that changes every few minutes. It cannot be photographed and reused from the car park.
  • A record that follows the worker Shifts completed, ratings and reliability build one portable reputation. Favourite the people who were good, and ask for them again.

You pay for hours worked

No subscription, no posting fee, no charge for a shift nobody claimed.

Questions

How fast can a shift actually get filled?

It depends on how many vetted workers hold that skill and tier near your site, and how much notice you give. A shift tomorrow evening in a city will usually find people; a specialist tier at 6am on a public holiday may not. Your dashboard flags shifts that are short of crew and starting soon, so you are never surprised on the day.

What if nobody claims my shift?

You pay nothing. Posting is free, and the fee only applies to hours actually worked. You can raise the rate, widen the tier, or give more notice and repost.

What if someone does not turn up?

The vacancy reopens for other workers automatically, and the no-show is recorded against that worker’s reliability. A cancellation close to the start time counts against them more than one made days ahead — because the cost to you is not the same.

Am I employing these people?

No. Pinch Crew workers take shifts through the platform; we handle their vetting, their payment and their records. You approve the hours worked at your site. If you want someone permanently, tell us and we will help you make the offer properly.

How do workers get paid, and when?

After the shift, the worker’s hours go to you for approval. Once approved, the payment is released on the next payout run. If you do not get to it, hours auto-approve after a set window so nobody is left waiting on an unopened tab.

Can I ask for the same person again?

Yes — favourite them, and they will see your shifts. You can also block someone from your shifts without giving a reason that reaches them.

I want to work shifts. What do I need?

A Malaysian mobile number, your IC or work permit, and a bank account to be paid into. Sign up in the app, upload your documents, and our team reviews them. You start at T1 and move up as you are assessed — no experience needed to begin.

Need crew this week?

Create a company account, tell us your sites, and post your first shift. Our team approves new companies before your shifts go live to workers.
